The Influx Guarantee Explained

The Influx guarantee, explained simply: we guarantee 30 qualified leads in 90 days. If you add our optional appointment setter, the guarantee becomes 30 qualified booked calls in 90 days, and no-shows count toward that number. If we miss it, we keep working at no extra cost for up to a further 90 days until we get there.

Key takeaways

  • The guarantee: 30 qualified leads in 90 days, or 30 qualified booked calls with the optional appointment setter, or we keep working at no extra cost for up to a further 90 days.
  • A qualified lead matches the ideal client profile agreed in onboarding, shows an intent signal and is passed to you.
  • A qualified booked call passes the same tests and is booked onto your calendar by the optional appointment setter. No-shows count once booked.
  • Duplicates, employees and existing customers on your pre-go-live list don't count.
  • There are no refunds. The remedy is more work, and closing is yours.

If you've bought marketing services before, you've probably been promised something. More visibility. More engagement. More "leads". And when the numbers didn't show up, it was hard to say what had actually been promised in the first place.

When founders tell us a past agency let them down, it usually comes down to the same few things. Promises with nothing behind them. Content that didn't sound like them. Vague leads. And no idea what was actually happening.

So this post puts our guarantee in plain words: what it is, what counts, what doesn't, what happens if we fall short, and what we need from you. If you're new to Influx, start with What Is Influx?.

What does Influx guarantee?

We guarantee 30 qualified leads in 90 days. If you add our optional appointment setter, the guarantee becomes 30 qualified booked calls in 90 days, and no-shows count toward that number.

If we miss it, we keep working at no extra cost for up to a further 90 days until we get there.

There are two versions, depending on your plan.

  • Without the appointment setter: 30 qualified leads in 90 days.
  • With the appointment setter add-on: 30 qualified booked calls in 90 days.

We only guarantee what we control: the right buyers in front of you. Closing is yours.

What counts as a qualified lead?

A qualified lead passes three tests.

  1. Right person. They meet the definition of your ideal client profile, agreed with you in onboarding before anything goes live.
  2. Real interest. They show an intent signal for your product or service.
  3. Next step. They're passed to you, so you or your team can follow up.

Not a follower count. Not a vanity metric. A real buyer, ready for a sales conversation.

What counts as a qualified booked call?

With the appointment setter add-on, the first two tests are exactly the same. The difference is the third step: instead of being passed to you, the person is booked onto your calendar by the appointment setter.

Put another way, a qualified booked call is a lead that meets the definition of your ideal client profile, with an intent signal for your product or service, booked by an appointment setter.

What doesn't count?

  • The same person twice. Each person counts once.
  • Your own employees, or ours.
  • Existing customers on the list you give us before go-live.

Those rules keep the number honest for both of us. Thirty means thirty real, new buyers.

Do no-shows count?

Yes. With the appointment setter add-on, a qualified call counts once it is booked onto your calendar, even if the prospect doesn't turn up.

We say that plainly because attendance is partly outside anyone's control. What we do control is who gets booked. Every booking has to fit the ideal client profile you agreed with us and show real intent, so the people on your calendar are worth talking to.

What happens if Influx falls short?

If we miss it, we keep working at no extra cost for up to a further 90 days until we get there.

In practice, that means if we haven't reached 30 qualified leads, or 30 qualified booked calls with the setter, by the end of the 90-day window, we keep providing the service at no extra cost for up to a further 90 days until the target is met, as set out in your client agreement.

The remedy is more work, not a refund. We'd rather carry that risk than ask you to.

What do we need from you?

The guarantee depends on the system being able to run. In practice that means:

  • Approvals and information back within 48 hours when we ask.
  • Your LinkedIn account kept connected so we can publish approved content on schedule. We never need your password.
  • Following up the qualified leads we pass to you, or, with the setter add-on, taking the calls that are booked.

The full terms are in your client agreement, which we share with you on the call.

Why guarantee leads and calls, not revenue?

Because qualified leads and booked calls are the part we control. Whether a conversation becomes a client depends on your offer, your price and how you sell, and you know those better than anyone.

So on your call we work through the maths together, in your numbers: 30 qualified conversations, times your close rate on a good one, times your average client value. As a simple illustration, if you'd normally win one in five good conversations, 30 qualified calls would mean six new clients. Multiply that by your average client value and you know what the guarantee is worth to your firm.

How long does it take to hit 30?

Here's what a typical first 90 days looks like. First posts go live about a week after your one-hour onboarding. Weeks 2 to 6 are where your audience warms up and conversations start. First calls typically land by about day 45, then build toward 30 by day 90, reviewed weekly. These are typical timings, not promises. The guarantee is the promise.

That timeline lines up with how B2B buyers behave. Factors.ai research published by LinkedIn found that buyers begin researching around 124 days before they speak to a seller, and much of that activity happens on LinkedIn (LinkedIn Marketing Blog). The trust has to be built before the call, which is why the first weeks go into getting your thinking in front of the right people.

Why can we make this promise?

Because we run the same system on ourselves first. In the first 90 days of running our own system on my LinkedIn, I booked 30 qualified calls. Twelve months in, it has generated over one million dollars in pipeline for Influx.

And we've seen it work across very different markets, from managed IT and cybersecurity to commercial cleaning and engineering. Most clients land closer to 30 calls in 90 days. You can read the anonymised figures on our results page.

Who is the guarantee not for?

It only works if the founder is willing to be visible as the face of the firm, and if someone will follow up the leads or take the calls. If you want paid ads rather than organic authority, we're probably not the right partner, and we'll tell you that on the call.
